Retreats

Once each semester, KOIN journeys to a location somewhere in Indiana for a weekend-long retreat. In the past, the group has traveled to such places as Camp Indogan in the northern portion of the state and Spring Mill Bible Camp in the southern half.

KOIN spends the weekend studying the Bible, praying and singing. When we're not doing one of those things, were are spending time in fellowship with one another. We love to play cards, throw the football, and, of course, eat.

Last semester, we spent a weekend in April at Bear Lake Camp in Albion, Ind., learning about how we can become more unified as a group of believers. Last fall, we traveled to Camp Alexander Mack in Milford, Ind.

Each retreat gives us an opportunity to grow closer to one another and closer to God as a group. It also allows each person a chance to spend time in thought about our own individual relationships with Christ.
